2007, The Queen of Mexican Rock was diagnosed with breast cancer that year. After becoming a survivor she turned into a spokesperson for Iniciativa Ser, a Mexican organization devoted to cancer research and awareness. By the end of the year she released, Fuerza, addressing her battle with the illness in the hit track Hasta el Final.
